從片名【變身國王２：高剛外傳】可知，原本邪惡女祭司Yzma的那位傻大個助手Kronk將有大表現了，其實這角色當初意外成為全片最喜愛的角色，配音者PatrickWarburton還因本片被讚為該年度最佳喜劇表演，如今居然以配角之姿推出後續作品，真是傻人有傻福！本片的故事敘述Kronk當初幫助Kuzco國王復位，也讓自己脫離Yzma的暴虐統治，如今Kronk在王國中不但成為當地餐廳的主廚，而且還是童軍團的領隊，甚至在他生命中還出現心儀的女生Birdwell，日子過得十分得eee。不料有一天，他聽到父親即將來訪，這讓他分寸大亂，原來Kronk跟父親Papi之間關係不太投緣，Kronk一直希望得到父親的認同，但Papi卻對兒子百般挑剔。如今聽到父親即將來訪，Kronk心中忐忑不安，決定使出渾身解數贏得父親的歡心。他的朋友們也都鼎力相助，就連Yzma也在一旁幫忙出餿主意，但卻趣事連連、爆笑不斷。本片由SaulAndrewBlinkoff、ElliotM.Bour共同執導，配音演員方面，由當初電影的原班人馬再度擔任原來角色的配音，包括有DavidSpade、JohnGoodman、EarthaKitt、PatrickWarburton，至於新的角色，配音演員則包括TracyUlman、JohnMahoney…等等。本片由JeanineTesori負責配樂。
